October 2020
It has been a busy few months as we have all navigated through the challenges that coronavirus has thrown our way. As a practice we want to thank all of our clients for their support, patience and understanding as we continue to follow strict social distancing protocols as we go about our work on-farm.
In recent weeks, our clients have been preparing for the tupping season, and if you are still in need of the Toxovax or Enovax vaccine in preparation for mating or would like additional veterinary advice leading into this period please get in touch and a member of the team will be able to assist.
In the next few weeks we are due to hold our second Beef Discussion Group webinar for clients, where our veterinary surgeons will be speaking alongside Andrew Tyrer from Zoetis on the topic of ‘Suckler Youngstock and Bovine Respiratory Disease.’ The webinar will take place on Thursday 24th September at 7pm on Zoom.
Following on from the webinar, and looking towards the Autumn, we are also launching our Calve Vaccination Programme this month, as we encourage clients to take a preventative approach to respiratory disease to improve the overall health, wellbeing and efficiency of their calves over Winter. Each Vaccination Programme is bespoke to the farm and its needs, and we would encourage anyone who would like support in creating an effective vaccine programme for their youngstock to get in touch to see how we can help.
For more information on any of the above, please call the practice on 01392 872934 or email [email protected]
